2019 Online Quilter's Meet & Greet

The quilting community is one that has no rival.
It is full of people that support one another with advice, training, compliments... the works.

And thanks to so many great bloggers out there, you get to meet quilters from all over the world.  Modern quilters. Traditional ones. Longarm artists. And Pattern designers.  The list could go on forever.  It can be a wee bit overwhelming sometimes looking for new quilters to connect with.

That is why blog hops like this one are so amazing.  You go to one place and there is a list of links to some great blogs.  Right there in front of you.

This year I was invited to join in and I was thrilled.

I guess since this is a Meet & Greet, I should tell you a little bit about myself.

In the grand scheme of things, I haven't been quilting all that long.  Maybe 8 years or so.  But, I jumped in with both feet when I decided to start quilting.  My first quilt was for my mom and there was no pattern, only some YouTube tutorials and lots of scratch paper.  I still love this one.

After finishing that, I was hooked. Fast forward 5 years and many quilts later I decided to start sharing my quilting on this blog.  I met so many quilty friends and learned many new things from just interacting with them.  I joined blog hops, quilt alongs, and started designing my own quilts (on paper instead of just in my head).  One of those designs was a collaborative effort with Janice from Color, Creating & Quilting.  It was a huge success and loads of fun.
The old tutorial can be found HERE

Since then, I took a blogging hiatus for about a year.  But, now that I am settled again I am happy to be back to quilting more, designing more, and of course blogging about it all and reconnecting with fellow bloggers.

Another thing quilters love?  Prizes. :)
Head over to the 2019 Online Quilter's Meet & Greet and visit some (or why not all) of the blogs and get a chance to win some fabulous quilty prizes.

I hope you have a wonderful day.
