It is time to reveal the Monthly Color Challenge Block for February!
February is BLUE! Oh I love blue. Such an extensive variety of tones and shades to choose from. I have a lot of blue in my stash (unlike the red from January). I have pale denims and royals that pop. I have deep, stormy fabrics and festive, playful ones too.
For the block that Patterns by Jen designed this month I decided to go with a bit of a subdued tone that went well with the red from January. At the end of the year I want to put them all together, so I am considering that in my choices when I can.
Two of my favorite fabrics in my stash paired with an almost-solid.
This block was super fun to make and you can get the design over at Patterns by Jen. I want to make this one in some different colors eventually.

The threads were running wild in my sewing room. I could not seem to take a single photo without some of them making an appearance. Also, no natural light to be found....oops.
Make sure you check out the other blogs that are sharing their versions of this block and some of their own BLUE blocks for the February Color Challenge!
And don't forget to make your own Blue Block for the linkup at the end of the month! The sponsor for this month is ....... The Fat Quarter Shop!!
Happy Quilting!
