Time Flies

Good gravy, another week has passed me by already!?!
How does this happen?
Seriously folks, I try to make a post at least once a week and before I know it, it is mid-week already.
To be honest though, there was a bit of a snag in my precious sewing time this last weekend.  As it is, I really don't have that much time to sew throughout the week.  With work, commute times, dinner, grocery shopping, and all those super fun chores that come with being a responsible adult I tend to get time to myself only on the weekends.  Oh how I long for days upon days of focusing only on my quilting.  Not going to happen anytime soon, that's for sure.

So, for now, I take what time I can and enjoy it.  This last weekend however, sew time was interrupted by one good thing and one bad thing.  It's all about balance right?  My mom came to visit me on Sunday.  It was far too short of a visit, but a much needed one.  I haven't seen her in such a long time.  Sometimes you just don't know how much you miss your mom until you get that first hug and smile.  It was so very, very good to see her. Then, probably not even an hour after dropping her off at the train station, I was struck with a miserable feeling..... yuck.  Woke up Monday morning with a headache that was so horrible I didn't move from my bed all day.

On the plus side, my next couple of posts will be full of finishes!  Yeahoo!
Remember that green and grey off-set diamond?  I am mere minutes away from completion on that. Then it is going to be cleaned up and will go on a photo shoot adventure!

AND... There will be the reveal hop for the Shadow Block Mini.
AND...Then the Cloud9 New Block Blog Hop.
AND...Soon I will be releasing my very first quilt pattern.

So many exciting things coming up. But, nothing to share now.  :(  I don't even have a pretty photo to share.
